Jahnke Road Improvements Meeting Next Month
Many people at last night’s Forest Hill Avenue improvement meeting expressed shock and surprise that these changes were planned. Next month is a chance to participate in changes happening to another local street. This time it is Jahnke and the meeting is happening 12/8/2010 from 6PM to 8PM at Crestwood Presbyterian Church, Boyd Hall. I’ll put in the calendar and post a reminder closer to the date.
The meeting notice;
The City of Richmond, Department of Public Works will be presenting its public hearing for the Jahnke Road Improvement Project. The public hearing is an opportunity for the public to view design exhibits and obtain information about the project. Communication with residents along Jahnke Road is a vital part of the planning and design process.
The meeting will be held in an informal open house format with representatives available from the City of Richmond and their consultants to answer questions and address comments.
Comment sheets, drawings, maps, and additional exhibits will be available for viewing. A recorder will be available to take your verbal comments, as well. Exhibits will display the design improvements, right of way impacts, landscaping, and traffic study results, as well as other related information.
This will be an official public hearing.
