Lost Souls CD Release Party
There is a local connection. I read the following on the Woodland Heights Yahoo group:
My band, the Lost Souls, is releasing an EP called Barflies. We are having our CD release party this Saturday night at the Capital Ale House Music Hall (Downtown on the corner of 7th and Main). The show is from 6-9. There is no cover to get in, and it is an all ages show. Our special guest Roslyn will opening the show.
We’ll have the CD for sale and other schwag, and a portion of all our merchandise sales will go to benefit the Sean McCarthy Live Passionately Foundation. Sean was a local runner who died after running a marathon in Tidewater this past summer. The front man for the Lost Souls will be running the full marathon that day, and I’ll be playing in another one of my bands at the CVS fun zone at the corner of Forest Hill & Westover Hills if you can’t make it Saturday night!!
Hope to see some of my friends and neighbors there!! Support local live music!!

A semi-local connection exists with Roslyn. Pedro Aida member of Roslyn and producer of the Lost Souls CD, used to live in the neighborhood. To check out some music by Lost Souls head to their website. Be warned music starts up the minute you hit the mainpage. To check out music by Roslyn go to their Myspace page.

Richard,
All you have to do is post something like this to remind me of how old and out of touch I am. But then, I never was “in touch”.
Pedro & fam will be moving back to said neighborhood pretty soon too! :)
Sam, Pedro the lazy bum hadn’t told me that. Glad to have you all back.
Yes we’re coming back to the ol’ hood!
Sorry I missed this, but it was a busy day. Lost Souls are a great band. Talked to all of them at Plaza Bowl one night. LOVE that Wes Freed is doing poster art for them!
Buy the CD folks, great guys making great music.
