5000 Block of New Kent Closed for Halloween

Halloween is a big night in Westover Hills, with youngsters from around the city here to enjoy trick-or-treating. For the last several years, the 5000 block of New Kent Road has been closed to vehicular traffic to help maintain a safe environment for the kids.

That block has experienced high numbers of trick-or-treaters in recent years, so WHNA is again assisting in securing a street closing permit from the city. The block is expected to be closed on Sunday, October 31, from around 5 p.m. to about 8 p.m.
