Sneak Peek of the Taza Coffeeshop
We mentioned earlier about the changes going down at the alley spot formerly known as Blanchard’s Coffee shop on Forest Hill Ave. Today we got a look at the newly remodeled space. The shop is currently having a soft opening so a few pictures aren’t on the wall and no sign yet on the alley but I would say it was 98% done and looks sharp. There are rumors of an Grand Opening/Open House on Friday and I’ll post the details when they are solidified.
TaZa is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and has a much improved selection of food. You can buy some chocolate from Chocolates by Kelly, pastries from La Sabrosita and fresh bagels. I forgot who they get the bagels from just know it isn’t Food Lion or Martin’s. La Sabrosita pastries rock. Blanchard’s coffee is available in both it’s natural roasted bean form and coffee and espresso form.

Looks nice! Looking forward to visiting.
Oh my gosh! My wildest dreams are coming true! La Sobrasita, Blanchards, and Kelly’s chocolate cohabiting happily in the same place and all within easy walking distance from my house!!!
I can’t wait to try it! So excited!!
Thanks to Richard for a great article and to all for a great opening week! Looking forward to meeting all of you.
There’s a great photo exhibit there now of my photographer friend Randal’s gorgeous shots of in and around Stockholm, Sweden!
I’ll second Suzanne’s comment – we were in there yesterday and my boys were fascinated by the photos. Heck of a commute he’s got, though :)
Jennifer, so glad you and your boys enjoyed my photos!
The commuting is worth it! :-)
