Help Out The Richmond Folk Festival

The best festival in Richmond kicks off on October 8 and wraps up on the 10th with more music than you can shake a neyanban at. This festival doesn’t just happen, lots of people are working year round to make it possible but did you know it takes around 1,200 volunteers to pull it off? This year the number of volunteers stepping forward is not as great as organizers had hoped so if you are on the fence about volunteering please know that you help is needed.

Whether it is answering questions, helping performers get to where they need to be, being part of the bucket brigade, selling CDs, to serving beer/wine/soda/water, there is something for everyone. Most shifts are between 3-4 hours leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the festival.
