My boys had a blast at The Forest! They dressed up the parking lot with a bouncy castle (the older girls did a great job policing the other kids), carnival games, and sidewalk chalk, and they had drinks and cotton candy for the kids. There was live music, too, and I appreciated the fact that someone who understands how to moderate sound was in charge – no problem hearing it, but we could carry on a conversation too. There was food, too, but I didn’t make it into the patio. Someone also managed to deliver flyers to a LOT of houses this morning!
I have to hand it to the folks at the Forest, they did a great job reaching out to the neighborhood and provided a really nice family-oriented event! Kudos!
Thank you, too, for the folks planning the Forest Hill/Woodland Heights “Night Out” at FH Presby. Church! Having the shredding truck there was a great idea!!!
Thank you all for coming out and we look forward to next year being even better. We are working hard to improve things and look forward to having you join us at a GREAT neighborhood spot!!
