Dog Lost During Storm

From Westover Hill’s Stray Watch we learn: “Lexie,” a small (50-pound) spayed female golden retriever, ran off during the storm. She lives in the 5500 block of Riverside Dr. She has all her tags and a microchip and was wearing a blue collar. If you find or see her, please call Dottie Cleal at 230-8834.

I’ll keep an eye out – thx Page

Dottie – if you bring a flyer to the SoTJ market tomorrow, I’d be happy to display it in my booth, hope she comes home soon!
Bad news. Lexie was found, but had been struck by a train and killed. Thanks to all that looked for her and condolences to Dottie.
My heart goes out to Lexie’s owner.
That is so sad. Poor puppy :(
I am SO sorry for this loss; what a gorgeous dog. One of my dogs is thunderphobic and does not do well with electrical storms like we just had. Dogs try to escape the noise, same with firecrackers.
I am so sorry for your loss Dottie.
I send loving & healing thoughts out to Lexie’s family in their time of loss. May you feel the comfort of Angels who surely are caring for and playing with your Beautiful Lexie. Namaste.
Dottie,
I am so so so sorry to hear about what happened. We have a golden retriever sport breed dog who is about 7 months old so I am really sad for you. I just hope that Lexie was instanteously struck and did not suffer. Please know dog lovers are feeling your pain and loss and we are supporting you right now.
