Red Pitbull Roaming in Woodland Heights
On Sunday a red female pitbull was spotted on Stonewall. Today she was seen in the woods near Chesterfield and 30th. The dog has no collar, appears to have recently had a litter and is very skittish. All the information above was gathered from the Woodland Heights Yahoo Group.

Call Richmond Animal Care & Control, (804) 646-5573. I am very involved in animal rescue in Richmond, but some breeds of dog (pit bull, rottis, chows) are habitually abused and fought in this city, they are bred, starved and then destroyed or discarded—-Sometimes they respond well to training and rehabilitation, and sometimes they need professional dog-handling experience. Please use caution and understanding in loose-dog situations, and if at all possible, call Richmond Animal Control. They are trained professionals, and they do their best to work with rescue groups. I would hate for anyone to get bitten by a fearful (or abused, or aggressive) dog! Also, you never know if loose dogs have their rabies vaccinations—use caution.
OMG….Red Bulls in the neighborhood….I couldn’t think of a worse thing to have happen (I know you get this Richard). Next thing you know we’ll have to be collaring Henry….actually that sounds fun.
Before anyone accuses Willis of being a bad neighbor, let me say I do get the joke and I if a saw Henry he would be lucky to get only a collaring. For those of you that what in on the joke it involves a certain player that just came to play for the New York Red Bulls.
I like to consider our neighborhood a extension of lot 8. Vamos United…tenemos que ganar.
I always thought the Willis here on H&H was the barra Willis! Now it is confirmed!
