Sunday in the Park Reminder & Volunteers Needed
Sunday in the Park With Friends is this Sunday, July 18th from 12-4pm.
This is a free event featuring fun activites for children (of all ages!) including a moon bounce, foot races, and numerous exhibits.
There will be bottled water, watermelon, and ice cream. Representatives from the leading environmental organizations in the area, the police department, fire department and others participate. Our very own Stacey Rogers (bike patrolman with the RPD) is organizing a bike rodeo!
Bands performing this year include Tin Foil Militia, Cy Taggart and Cashmere Jungle Lords.
A few more volunteers are still needed for the event. All volunteers receive a free T-shirt. If you have some time to spare for this very worthwhile event, please contact Rob Jones robleyj@aol.com
I love the Tin- Foil Militia band is wonderful.

They play first, so get there early. Followed by Cy Taggert, then the Jungle Lords…at 6, Music in the Park takes over.
Does anyone know of a timetable for the bands?
Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event happen! Rob does a great job getting folks to come out and devote an hour or two! Thanks also to all of the sponsors and organizers for the event–it takes a lot to put this on, but it is worth it!
