Free Slurpee Today

In honor of the date 7/11 our local purveyors of junk food and rotating tubes of dubious meat 7-11 is offering a free 7.11 ounce slurpee. We have two locations in our immediate area, one on Jahnke and the other Forest Hill Ave.

Wish I could have partaken, but I always receive the newsletter after the weekend and hence miss a lot of weekend events. How can I change this?? I have tried to rectify this before, but have gotten no response. Thanks!
For most events I try to give a week’s notice but that is not always the case. Often I don’t find out about events until the day of the event or a day or two prior. In my mind the best use of H&H is as place to stop by everyday or every couple days to see what is going on. I don’t think it serves as well as a weekly summary of upcoming events. I will continue to try and find the balance between posting too far ahead of events and posting too close to the actual event date.
You rock Richard. Keep up the good work. I check the site every day to read your funny writing and keep taps on the goings on the the hood.
