The Knitorious M.E.G. Hits Our Hood
This is cool, way cool and went up on the 25th. Called Yarn Bombing by some Knit Graffitti by others but we know the artist of this work is The Knitorious M.E.G.. She was interviewed by Yarnbombing and part of the interview was picked up by RVA Mag early this month (read the Yarnbombing for the full interview) and discusses her crew K1-D2 and it’s origins. TV Newsbadge captured some photos of a similar piece back in December and made a video of the latest artwork.
I am a big fan and hope to see more.
Update: This was down by the east side of the lake in May.Note the tag!

I love your knit “tags”…they always make me smile….Thank you for brightening our little corner of the world!!!
(For the record, Yarn Bombing did the interview and RVA Mag picked it up.)
Thanks for the clarification K1-D2. I’ll correct it in the text above.
