Sunday in the Park, July 18th. PHSSA is going to partner with Ready Creek Coalition for the July 18th Sunday in the Park Event. This is a neighborhood event sponsored by area organizations and it takes place in Forest Hill Park. The tent for Ready Creek Coalition would have a display of a bayscape garden with plants and a rain barrel to educate adults about protecting and helping the watershed on their own properties. Then there would be a model of a healthy stream with actually water flowing and this model will have live aquatic insects that are present in a healthy stream. PHSSA has been asked to to create an art project to make a bug using recycled materials and have books on hand for children to look at about insects. We need one or two parents to volunteer to head up this event and help organize the art projects and books. We will need additional volunteers to help man the tent on July 18th. Please contact Kelly Bulbulkaya at kelly.bulbulkaya@patrickhenrycharter.org to volunteer for this event.

Look for another email in the next day or two with information about how to sign up to volunteer for some of our parent committees!!

Thanks!
Principal Boyd
