Cursed Property on Cowardin
Richmond Biz.Sense has an article, complete with slideshow on business properties that may be cursed. Among those unfortunates is the Bamboo Cafe on Cowardin near Semmes.
You know where they are. You’ve probably even predicted that the next tenant will not last more than eight months. A year, max.
But like clockwork, every year or so, or maybe even every few months, a new business is moving in. You hope they can break the spell. Maybe they have a special touch.
But deep down you know they can’t. Because despite the entrepreneur’s bravery, he has leased a Cursed Location.
It was obviously a drive-in at some point. Can anyone tell me what was the name of the drive-in? What do you think are some of the cursed properties in the area?

Well, actually, where Crossroads is now was ‘cursed’ for many years….
Olivia has lifted many curses in her day.
Interesting post. I think Cowardin in general is cursed; is not a particularly attractive intro to the Southside after crossing the Lee Bridge…. Hope that changes for the better someday.
Wish I had $275,000 laying around so I could buy that hideous lot on Cowardin & Semmes….. http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/16026977/510-520-Cowardin-Ave-Richmond-VA/
I’m getting tired of that graffiti shack & Daddy Rabbits billboard…
