Westover Hills Clean-up This Saturday

From the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association, sorry for the late notice;

WHNA’s annual spring clean-up has been re-scheduled for Saturday, May 8. (It was originally set for April 24, but the city informed us trucks would not be available that day.)

The city provides us with garbage trucks so that WHNA volunteers can pick-up old household furnishings, yard debris, and other discards. For serviceable items that can be donated rather than discarded, the association is hoping to also have available trucks from a charitable organization that accepts donations.

The project will need a few dozen volunteers to go with the trucks to collect the items. If you can help, show up at the Bank of America branch on Forest Hill Avenue across from O’Toole’s at 7:30 a.m. on that Saturday. The project should finish up no later than noon, probably sooner.
