Sector 312 Police Report for April
Read the full report from Lieutenant John A. O’Kleasky, Jr. There were 13 residential burglary/breaking & entries, 7 of which were at St. John’s Wood. The report is light (understatement) on data but did have some good news on the arrest of some copper thieves as well a robbery at the Shoe Warehouse.
March 30: Commercial Robbery Arrest – Officers Billy Campbell and Ben Smith responded to a Commercial Robbery at 1200 Westover Hills Blvd. (Shoe Warehouse). They quickly obtained a detailed description of the suspect and noted that his characteristics matched a known person from the area, one who frequented Chippenham Hospital. They relayed this persons information to detectives who were able to quickly obtain warrants and make an arrest. These officers outstanding knowledge and investigative ability helped to quickly clear this incident by arrest.
