Richmond.com Reviews Croaker’s Spot
Richmond.com has a review of Croaker’s Spot that does a good job of describing the whole experience as well as the food. Love Croaker’s cornbread and this restaurant has made our list of places to take guests to show off RVA. I am a bit of a heathen in that I don’t like all the onions and peppers that come with nearly every dish but they hold those when you ask and it is all good.
The menu is Southern-style seafood with a dash of soul, and, in an era when almost every restaurant has a steak option, completely devoid of NY Strip. I take this as a good sign. If you tried the old Croaker’s Spot in Jackson Ward, you’ll be comforted to know that not much is different on Hull Street, except the restaurant’s proximity to the south side of the James River. The baked and smothered fish boats the Jackson Ward restaurant was famous for remain on the Southside menu.

Didn’t know they were open again. Thanks!
I wasn’t aware of the Manchester location closing. When was it closed?
