Forest Hill Park Clean-up This Saturday
Just a friendly reminder that folks will be cleaning up Forest Hill Park this Saturday from 11 until 2. They are meeting at the first picnic shelter, which is the one closest to W. 42nd Street. Bags and beverages will be provided, and all volunteers are welcome.
And for those of you who want to participate but cannot make it this weekend, there will be another clean-up day Saturday May 15th. I’ll post more information closer to that date.
I would like to thank all who came out on Saturday for the clean up. We had over 20 neighbors plus RPD Officer Woo and his 25 Community Service workers!
The next one is on May 15th. We will concentrate on the lake and creek areas.
I make a habit of picking up trash anytime I’m in the Park, especially after a bike race. Then I take a bag with me for all the litter.
