April Sector 312 Report Available

You can get the report here but I noticed that Lt. John A. O’Kleasky, Jr. did not include the full breakdown on all the crime stats. The full breakdown is much more detailed and allows you to compare to last year.

Some tidbits from the newsletter include;

March 10-12: Copper Theft Arrest – Through investigative resources Detective Reuben Albright quickly identified a subject who was taking copper gutters to a recycling center and obtaining cash for same. Contact was made with this person and he implemented a second individual as being in-volved in the theft of gutters from the Westover Hills area. On 3/12/2010 , detectives caught up with the second individual and he was arrested for copper theft . This individual also confessed to sev-eral copper gutter thefts in Sector 312.

March 30: Commercial Robbery Arrest – Officers Billy Campbell and Ben Smith responded to a Commercial Robbery at 1200 Westover Hills Blvd. (Shoe Warehouse). They quickly obtained a detailed description of the suspect and noted that his characteristics matched a known person from the area, one who frequented Chippenham Hospital. They relayed this persons information to detectives who were able to quickly obtain warrants and make an arrest. These officers outstanding knowledge and investigative ability helped to quickly clear this incident by arrest.
