Full Press Release from The Foundation for Paranormal Research
On March 6th 2010 the Foundation for Paranormal Research will be demonstrating cutting edge technology involving paranormal capture and containment of “ghosts” or foreign entity’s within our personal world. This event is called The 3 Mile Lock Experiment – Conquest. The foundation’s founder Robert Bess, along with his technical containment team, will demonstrate the real existence of ghosts and other worldly entities by actual capture and containment of real ghosts using the foundation’s inventions and techniques. An explanation of the equipment, the theories, and practical applications etc will be given before the event. The environment will be fully lit and fully visible. This is a rare opportunity for skeptics and non-committed believers, etc.
An added attraction will be the “Parabot,” as seen on Ghost Adventures Live, the 7 hour lockdown at Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum in Weston , West Virginia shown on The Travel Channel. Parabot will be capturing and containing ghosts and showing off its abilities. The foundation will also be demonstrating how its latest invention, “The Tesla Tower,” works. There will be two fully active Tesla coils firing during the demonstration. The coils will be producing over .2.6 million volts of raw uncontrolled energy – wild and attractive arcs from the coils.
The public is most welcome to attend and bring cameras and video recorders. The foundation rarely puts on demonstrations of this nature exposing some of its inventions. The purpose of the event is to truly open the public’s eyes to the real world that we share with the dead and the effects on our daily lives.
A notice of WARNING: this isn’t something young children should attend due to the nature of what is going to be demonstrated – apparitions of the dead, some harmless, some hostile and not very pleasant to view. Anyone with a heart condition or who is easily distressed also should not attend.
Last but not least, there will be an announcement by the founder referencing to his personal involvement with the paranormal – a kept secret that NO ONE has known about him – a sworn secret that he now has been given permission to be announced to the world.

Wow. Didn’t know that there was still a market for snake oil…
I just hope they don’t unleash forces they cannot control.
An angry Haint is nothing to mess around unless you have a root worker standing by.
I just hope they don’t cross the streams.
Who ya gonna call?
Stay Puft Marshmallow Man?
Are you the Keymaster?
GOZER the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!
*Sigh*, you can mock the Powers Beyond if you wish, but Richmond Virginia has always been an under appreciated hot bed of documented supernatural activity.
I myself did a little ditty on the famed “Lost City” out Sandston way that terrorized high school kids in the late 50′s and mid 60′s. My essay should still show up on Google.
And of course my good friend Dorthy Reed discovered the Mysterious Stone of Edgar Allan Poe abandoned by unknown and sinister forces in a vacant field near Fairfield Court in the mid 70′s.
And before Roswell, and Kenneth Arnold notwithstanding, Richmond Virginia was the scene of the first verified sighting of a UFO in April 1947 . The REAL hero was Walter A. Minozewski, a Weather Bureau meteorologist based at Byrd Flying Field.
Mock the natural order folks, and you’re playing with fire.
I just think it sounds like an interesting and unique way for my camera and I to spend a couple of hours on Sat. Really looking forward to it!
Whoops! Forgot we’re not supposed to have any fun around here! HAVING fun doesn’t mean we’re MAKING fun.
Yep, got a look at the Parabot this afternoon (will post a couple of pic’s on Flickr later). Hope they get a good crowd.
If anyone takes pictures let me know. I am bummed that I have to work and won’t be able to see event. Also very bummed I won’t see the inside of the Pumphouse.
FYI, I’ve got a picture today showing the Parabot in the pump house here
Nice pictures tvnewsbadge, looking forward to what you capture on Saturday.
What is the address of The Pump House?
John I don’t think it technically has an address. If you are heading south over Boulevard (Nickel Bridge)it is the last right before you hit the toll booth. This map will help as well.
[...] the story and more photos but it appears that the spirits were not pleased with the attempts to be captured at the Pump House today. They took their vengence by trying to take an SUV back with them through a sinkhole. This means [...]
I was there when the vehecle owners were still there.. they even blamed the ghosts! Which were there in the pumphouse but I don’t think for Bess.. I got hit by a wind right when the clock pushed to 3 & the temperature dropped! Anybody else??
Yeah, after my visit to the event, my dome light wouldn’t shut off and it mysteriously blew up in my hand when I took the pliers to it in order to take out so my battery wouldn’t drain….
Stranger still was that Pep Boys and Auto Zone didn’t have replacement lamps… I ended up going to Trak.
Strange indeed.
Sorry to have missed this. But I have personally always wondered what lurks in there. And I hope they didn’t disturb something evil myself.
