I Heart Tree 5k Route

This route is a change from last year and the previous post.
The annual 5K run is next week away: February 13, 2010 at 9am, starting and finishing at the Stone House in Forest Hill Park. 5K 2010 Route 2
This community event is a 5K walk/run through the Forest Hill Neighborhood. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome (we had lots last year!)
SCHWAG ALERT!!! All registrations postmarked by today Friday, February 5, 2010 will be guaranteed a long sleeve t-shirt. You know you want a shirt, all the cool kids are wearing them this year.
Race day registration starts at 8am.

If we ask ever-so-nicely, can we have until the end of the weekend for the shirts if we hand-deliver?

Can you describe what the funds gathered from the race will go towards?
Sure John -Funds raised will benefit the Forest Hill Neighborhood Association and Richmond Police Sector 312 (who protect our Hills and Heights), who last year gave their proceeds to Richmond Police Athletic League (Richmond PAL).
Will we see you Saturday?
Zac, Thanks for the reply. Not sure I’ll be able to make it out there this year. I do have a group of friends that will be there, so I’ll be cheering them on from the sidelines. Good luck on Saturday and hope to see you at the next event.
