Power Outage in Stratford Hills Caused by Fire
Neil sent in a photo and let us know that the power outage Stratford Hills was caused by an electrical fire behind Paradise Diner. Thanks Neil. When we were at Once Upon a Vine last Friday the power went out briefly and we were told that it was due to a fire back in the alley. Maybe our resident Fire Department mole has some more info?
Nope. Just heard a transformer blew and caught some wires on fire. Usually Va Power has to come out and manually reset the fuses on the nearby poles before the power is restored.

According to the Dominion power website it was just a very small area. Shortly after this was grabbed they revised it back to a green dot 51-250 customers affected.
