Liberty Valance on NBC12′s Restaurant Report

From NBC12 January 14th:

In Richmond, Liberty Valance at 7017 Forest Hill Avenue had four critical violations, including beef ribs and pork ribs holding at improper temperatures. Violations were corrected during the inspection. A follow-up report is not yet available.

Some of you may be wondering if the smoking issue came up.  John M. of CHPN who sent me the link also pointed out that the violations which NBC12 are reporting as news are from a November inspection. Which would have been before the ban took place. The NBC12 report also states that all critical violations were taken care of at the time of the inspection but the inspection lists one that was not fixed.

Critical The faucet located at the 2-vat sink was observed in disrepair. Repair the faucet according to plumbing code.
