Green Renovations to Stovall Apartments

The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority renovated the Oscar E. Stovall apartments at 24th and Bainbridge. That by itself is good news but what makes this project unique is how they renovated the apartments.

The renovation complies with the EarthCraft Virginia Multifamily certification program, a voluntary green building program designed to reduce utility costs, protect the environment while providing healthy, comfortable housing.

“Stovall is part of our vision of revitalizing communities and creating vibrant communities. What can be more vibrant than a brand-new, environmentally-friendly complex,” Scott said of Stovall, which is located at 24th and Bainbridge Streets in Richmond.
