I’m reminded of the old saying “be careful what you ask for, you may get it”.
From what I’ve observed, as long as you’re talking snows in the neighborhood of a few inches to a foot or so, snow and ice on side streets isn’t causing that much of a serious problem for folks who HAVE to be out in it (like me).
Especially nowadays with front wheel drive cars and all wheel drive SUV’s being the order of the day.
My street was passable for CAREFUL drivers within 24 hours after the snow ended.
But if the city starts requiring residents to move their vehicles to allow for snow removal, we’ll have a real mess on our hands as frantic residents jockey for the limited plowed spaces and the main thoroughfares become clogged with parked cars.
I am thinking I see only two coats of salt and muddy sand on my cars. One big blob of muddy sand in the street. Not much on the ice and snow. Nice job on the cars. That must be fun; turn that sucker on super swirl for the Lexus coming up.
