No Changes for Tuesday Trash Pick-up
The official press release, bold added by yours truly:
City residents who normally receive trash collection on Monday also will receive service on Tuesday, December 22 if their trash was not picked up today due to inclement weather. Residents with alley collection are being asked to place their supercans on the street in front of their house if possible. The solid waste trucks will not be able to maneuver in the alleys because of the snow. This temporary change will only impact those with alley collection on Monday. All Tuesday collections will proceed as regularly scheduled.

how am I supposed to move a full super can from the back alley to the curb through 8 inches of snow ice? I guess my trash won’t get picked up?
You do not have to move your trash can for pick up either Tuesday or Wednesday. From the press release. “This temporary change will only impact those with alley collection on Monday.”
