New Web Banner and Such

After much feet-dragging on my part and a certain amount of badgering on Richard’s part, I finally designed a new web banner for H&H and tweaked a few colors and fonts. If the site looks wonky, try refreshing the page. If it’s still really goofy let us know in the comments.

After School Activities Canceled

According to the RPS home page all after school activities for today have been canceled due to the weather. RTD is saying that Chesterfield and Henrico have also canceled after school activities.

Dry spell+heavy rain=trees down.

There were several downed trees in the city last night, including one in the alley behind the 5200 block of Devonshire Rd. The horizontal tree, which is now blocking the alley, took out power lines to one house and damaged a garage. Virginia Power has been called to the site to check on the wires. [...]

Brown Middle School Teacher Wins Award

A partnership between The Community Foundation and the R.E.B. Foundation, recognizes outstanding public school teachers from Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Richmond and the Department of Correctional Education.
