Farmer’s Market Ends on 12/5
The very successful second season of the South of the James Market is about to end. The final market is scheduled for December 5th, at the New Kent Road and 42nd Street pavilion area of Forest Hill Park. The market will resume May 1st, 2010.

I spoke to the woman who runs Faith Farm’s booth and she said about 7-10 of the regulars (including Faith Farm)were going to continue setting up on Saturdays at FHP through the winter, though not under the auspices of the market proper.
I heard talk of this while at the market this weekend. There were conversations occuring about some concerns about if it is viable / allowed without approval from or if it is approved by city.
Norwood Cottage Bskery will continue selling its bread, cakes and muffins through Fall Line Farms, Richmond’s online farmer’s market.
