Memoirs of a Snow Queen Booksigning

Being relatively new to RVA I am not familiar with Miller & Rhoads or the Snow Queen but know that we have lots of RVA natives in the area that might be interested in this event.

Author and Richmond native Donna Deekens will be on hand to sign her new book “Christmas at Miller & Rhoads – Memoirs of a Snow Queen” at Feathernesters at 6118 Lakeside Avenue on Friday, November 13 from 5:30 – 7:30. The book chronicles Deekens’ stint as a Snow Queen at the fabled Richmond department store through photographs and prose. She shares touching and humorous holiday memories and “behind the scenes” accounts from her 20 some years of wearing the Snow Queen gown and greeting Richmond families.
