HandsOn Still Needs Volunteers

We have already posted about this great event but after an email from the volunteer coordinator here is another reminder with at few more details.

HandsOn Greater Richmond, a non-profit organization, is looking for as many venues as possible to get the word out about their city-wide day of service (“HandsOn Day”). They already have over 700 people registered, but are in need of about 300 more to meet all of the agency needs. Given the economic situation, the need is great, but the desire to serve is as well. Volunteers will meet at RIR for the kick off and then disperse to 45 local schools, parks and nonprofits. Their biggest need is at Huguenot High School (in the city of Richmond) where they are doing an “extreme school makeover”!
