Dogs Attack Cat in Woodland Heights
From the Woodland Heights Yahoo Group we learn that on Friday night around 12:30 a.m. two pitbull mixes attacked and killed a cat on 26th Street between Semmes and Springhill. The dogs appear to match the descripton of the dogs we posted about here. It is unknown at this time whether or not Animal Control has been called about the latest incident but police were asking walkers on Buttermilk trail on Thursday about dogs.

Does anyone know if these dogs are feral or if there is an owner anywhere?
David, it is suspected that they live at 301 w 25th street but that is only speculation since the person that is making that connection is only going on the description.
Should be easy enough to check that out by simply conducting a “ride by” and copping some pictures and posting them on Flickr.
Of course, this should be done around mid-day so as to not to arouse the attention and possible anger of the dogs owner.
Did the drive-by last night… no signs of dogs living there (houses, food dishes etc), but there was a chain link fence with the gates open.
