Police Issue Warrant in Robberies by Cyclist

RTD is reporting that the latest robbery committed by an armed man riding a bike, has helped the police to identify who’s committing them.They are unsure if this is the same robber who hit in Woodland Heights recently.

The most recent robbery at the Communities at Southwood occurred yesterday about 1:20 a.m. and helped police develop information that led to arrest warrants being issued later in the morning for a suspect in the case.

“We think we know who did this,” said Lt. Angela Greene, whose sector includes the sprawling apartment complex just south of Hull Street Road. “Hopefully, we’ll get this guy soon and put a stop to this.”
