National Night Out Events in H&H

The “26th Annual National Night Out” (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2009. The purpose of NNO is to let criminals know that the neighborhood is active and unified in preventing crime.

Below is the list of events that I know about. If you have an event that you would like to publicize please let me know.

Corner of Bondsor Lane & Irby Drive – Cookout – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
6901 Marlowe Road Pool – Pool Party & Cookout – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Forest Hill Presbyterian Church – Ice Cream Social – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
1912 Cedarhurst Drive – Flashlight Walk w/ Social Hour Before – 7:30 to 9 p.m.
406 Westover Hills Blvd. – Pool Social – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
St. John’s Woods’ Pool/Clubhouse – Pool Party – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Stratford Hills Apartments – Safety and Watching out for others – 4 p.m. to 5p.m.
E.D. Redd School Rear Playground Shelter – Cookout, Picnic – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
