Plans are underway for the 2009 Woodland Heights Holiday House Tour on December 6th. The event is now well established in Richmond and draws hundreds of visitors from all over the area who are impressed with our eclectic mixture of historic homes. This year, we will celebrate our newly awarded designation as a state and federal historic district by using a trolley for transportation between holiday houses thus echoing Woodland Heights’ history as Richmond’s first trolley suburb.
The Woodland Heights house tour program book includes ads from a variety of businesses, organizations and professionals in the Richmond area. If you would like to advertise your business or services in the 2009 program a number of options are available for as little as $75 for a half page black and white ad. Signed contracts, camera ready copy and checks for full payment are due by October 1, 2009. If interested, please contact me and I will send you a contract with complete advertising details.
Advertising in the program book supports the Woodland Heights Civic Association which in turn supports a number of community enrichment projects such as Woodland Heights Historic Designation, Patrick Henry Public Charter School and Music in the Park among others. Plans are under way for a neighborhood re-forestation project next year.
