Slow Down on Powhite

Troopers and Richmond City police have been ramping up patrols at the toll lanes, particularly the 45 mile per hour express lanes.

Police say complaints from the driving public caused them to take a closer look at how fast people are driving.

Police tell CBS 6 this is not a special initiative like Operation Air Land and Speed, however they will continue to blanket this area until they feel motorists are getting the message. [via]
