Extreme Makeover (Curb Appeal Edition) at Huguenot High May 18
What a great idea! Huguenot High, like many of the RPS schools, could use a little sprucing up. And I hear sponsors are being lined up to hopefully defray some of the cost of the clean up.
The Department of Public Works (DPW) will be with Huguenot on Monday, May 18 as part of their Community Information Week. Huguenot will be sprucing up the front of our school as part of The National Great American Cleanup.
Our goal is to model cleanliness and citizenship as we make our learning environment more inviting for our students. We’re doing this by having teams of staff, students, parents, friends, and community target areas to clean, beautify with plants, and add touches of school spirit.
We invite area businesses, civic groups, and municipal agencies to support our efforts: multiple blowers, weed eaters, push brooms, rakes, and shovels are needed to pull off this efficient, fun afternoon of high-impact beautification.
