Celebrate the new playground fence at a cookout on Wednesday, May 6

The Westover Hills United Methodist Church invites all in the neighborhood for a cookout on Wednesday, May 6, to celebrate the new fence around the playground at the corner of New Kent and the Boulevard. Gather at 6:15 p.m. beside the playground! Everyone is asked to bring their favorite covered dish, multiple copies of their recipe, and a folding lawn chair to sit on. The church will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, and beverages.

This is the church’s way to greet our neighbors and to thank you and the neighborhood association for your ongoing support of our playground. (WHNA provided volunteers to tear down the old fence and financial support to install the new one.) Come out for a great evening of fellowship, fun and great food!
