7 Hills Scooter Club Info.

I think scooters are cool.  I don’t own a scooter. If I did I would be a member of the 7 Hills Scooter Club after reading the post below posted on the Woodland Heights Yahoo Group by Chelsea.

“There are a lot of folks in Woodland Heights with scooters. I know many of you, but certainly not all of you. Therefore I thought I’d bring your attention to a few events going on in the next month.

The Seven Hills Scooter Club (http://www.7hillssc .com) meets every Thursday evening at approximately 7:30pm at Cous Cous (900 W. Franklin St). We eat, drink, and make merry. Cous Cous takes good care of us with some excellent
specials and the food there is pretty gosh darn tasty. Also, they have cheese on fire. All makes and models are welcome, and that means the scooters and the people driving them.

Next, the 7 Hills Scooter Club is hosting the yearly spring scooter rally the weekend of May 15-17th. The Dogwood Classic Rally is a camping rally. We will be riding to Heavenly Acres campsite (http://www.heavenly acres.net)in Stanardsville, VA, on the afternoon of May 15th. If you do not feel comfortable riding to the foothills of the Blue Ridge, we’ll also be taking
a truck and trailer too. Come by one of the weekly meetings or contact us via the website to get on that boat. More rally info here: http://7hillssc. com/rally. html

Lastly, I just thought I’d let everyone know that the service department at my shop (Scoot Richmond) can service almost all scooters (sorry, we don’t work on the $800 pep boys/internet stuff) as well as motorcycles (especially the older stuff that most shops don’t want to work on). We’re much closer to Woodland Heights than any of the other shops, so I figured it might be a good thing to know.

Take care and ride safe!
