Not in the hood but close enough is the Cinco de Mayo Festival on Brown’s island. Hackensaw boys, Bio Ritmo, DJ Williams and others play for your sunburning pleasure for FREE from 1pm -7pm!

I for one am glad to see this posted and I hope you keep it up on a weekly basis.
Lotsa great live music in the local area, but not always easy to find.
Example was the 14th street Fish Festival a week or so ago… plenty of fine performers like East of Afton, but who knew until you showed up?
It’s especially nice to have a chance to hear the more obscure individuals and groups playing in unexpected palces that one might not be aware of.
If you know of any good source for listings, let me know. I scoured several sources to pull this listing together!
