WHNA Yard Sale April 18
From the Westover Hills website we get the details of the community garage sale. I love this event. The big score last year was an impressive dollhouse for my daughter for only $20.
The annual Westover Hills Neighborhood Yard Sale scheduled for Saturday, April 18 (rain or shine). Participants display their treasures and other sale items on their own property and keep all the profits. You enjoy all the benefits of joint advertising, which attracts lots of eager buyers from all over Richmond to Westover Hills. Cost to participate is only $10 per household, which pays for the newspaper advertising.
Like last year, we plan on having a local charity visit the neighborhood after the sale to pick up anything you would like to donate.
WHNA will place two ads in the classified section of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, one on Friday, April 17, and the other on the day of the sale. Addresses will appear in the ad but no names will be listed. The deadline to sign up and participate and be included in the newspaper ad is Monday, April 13.
If you’d like to participate, please send or drop off your check for $10 (made payable to WHNA) to Jonathan Huyard at 5106 Sylvan Road.
