South of the James Farmer’s Market Vendors
7 Comments »Did you make it to the South of the James Farmer’s Market last year? This popular Saturday event starts back up may 2 at the picnic shelters at Forest Hill Park and I’m unduly excited. It’s all so good. We like to get there early on a Saturday and grab a latte and some breakfast. If you’re patient, Tex’s smoked hamburgers make a fabulously awesome (although possibly heart-clogging) brunch. Click through to see a partial list of vendors put together by the Market Umbrella.

I love this market. Tex’s brisket is so fantastic, I can’t even wait. Last year, there were several musicians in attendance as well (my daughter loves Marcus, the guitarist from last year. I hope he is back this year).
Also, the selection of microgreens and other unusual produce made each week a fun adventure in menu planning. Can’t wait.
