Shooting Suspect Surrenders

Richmond Police have released the following statement:

The Richmond Police Department has in custody one of the suspects believed responsible for a shooting that occurred on the 100 block of East 33rd Street last week.

Roosevelt Byrd, 20, of the 00 block of East 31st Street surrendered to police without incident. Byrd has been charged with two counts of abduction, two counts of use of a firearm and one count of use of a firearm while a convicted felon.
