St. Patrick’s Days at O’Toole’s

otooles1

The traditional raising of the white tent that marks  St. Patrick’s arrival into town is missing this week. That is because the addition at O’Toole’s will be open and all the revelry will be inside this year. As always O’Toole’s is not content with a one day celebration and instead goes for 3 straight days of allowing everyone to pretend to be Irish. Musicians and beer aplenty, with activities starting to pour on Saturday at 2 p.m.  As a public service I want everyone to know that besides tasting divine, Guinness has less calories and alcohol than your standard mass brewed American beer so have Guinness for goodness sakes.

Schedule of Musicians:
Saturday

  • Uisce Beatha at 2 p.m.
  • The Donny Brooks at 6 p.m.
  • The Havers at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday a day of rest

Monday

  • Old-fashioned sing-a-long at 5:30 p.m. (not sure what that entails)
  • Tinkers Dam at 8 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day officially begins at 11 a.m. with a $5 cover charge

  • Donny Brooks at 2 p.m.
  • Fo’lach at 7 p.m.
  • Bagpipers will be blowing between sets

I found the above schedule here but the O’Toole’s website says Music for St. Patrick’s Day, Gleen & Marge, The Donny Brooks, So’Lach, Tammy, Tinkers Dam, Greater Richmond Piper
and Usicebetha.
