Crime Down in Sector 312
Comment now »Lt. Scott Booth has published the Community Report for Sector 312 and it had mostly good news. There was a 0% increase in violent crime, 19% reduction in property crime and overall crime dropped 17%. There was an increase in aggravated domestic assaults climbing from 0 to 4 and residential burglary climbed from 11 to 18. Of those 18 break-ins 5 took place in the Jahnke neighborhood and 5 occurred in the Westover neighborhood. All the break-ins happened when the residents were away from the home during the day and in most cases entry was made through a rear door.
Hills and Heights congratulates Sector Officer James Louden who was named the Richmond Police Departments Third Precinct Officer of the month for February.
