Woodland Heights Residential Burglary

From the Woodland Heights Yahoo Group we learn of a break in on 29th Street.

At about 9:30 this evening (Friday), someone broke into my house through the outside basement door while no one was home. I guess the alarm scared them off, but the guy entered, went up the stairs, then took a small turtle aquarium that was next to the back door before leaving through the alley .

I just wanted to left everyone know to be mindful of anyone who looks suspicious, scoping us out through the alleys. My neighbor happened to be outside and saw the guy strolling away, then bolting when he discovered he was being followed. He was last seen south in the alley toward the park. The aquarium was never recovered.

Is it me or does there seem to be a bunch of animal related incidents this week? So far we have missing cat in a sweater, a pair of dogs and now a turtle aquarium thief.
