RPS Offering Tour of Several Schools

It appears that Richmond Public Schools are doing a little PR and offering a bus tour of several schools in different districts across Richmond. It would be interesting to go to see if any brings up the recent City Auditor report that was extremely critical of the IT Department.

From the RPS website:

The Get on Board tours will provide community members with a unique opportunity to view several schools in multiple districts in a day; therefore, allowing participants to get a cross-district comparison of the school system.
Each tour will be hosted by key building administrators, and will provide background information about the district and the individual schools being toured. Facility management, building leadership and structure, student demographics and student achievement will be major components reviewed during each tour.

The tour is March 26th and will go to J.E.B. Stuart Elementary, Binford Middle, and George Wythe High School. For more information including contact information in order to RSVP go here.
