Fetch a Cure is working on behalf of all pets and their owners who are being or have been affected by the symptoms of aging. Their work focuses on:
- Education for senior care with an emphasis on symptoms of canine cancer within
this population; - Support for treatment & care of affected canines whose families are unable to
financially provide for their pet; and - Development of a local canine cancer and aging center with on-site specialists
& equipment for ongoing canine health.
Inspired by Richmond’s highly successful Go Fish project of 2001, Pups on Parade 2009, is a fund raising project involving dog sculptures that are “groomed” and transformed into works of art that become part of an outdoor artdisplay that moves around town.
We would like to invite ARTISTS to join this fun filled campaign that will yield high exposure for your canine creations and leave a lasting mark on the greater Richmond area pet lovers, as well as the community at large. Please download the pdf from www.fetchacure.com (under “events list”) for more information and guidelines…(editors note: I linked to the pdf directly)
* The entry deadline has changed and we will now be accepting submissions through Febuary*
