Legend Brewery News
The RTD reported on Saturday that Legend Brewing will soon be offering 6 packs in addition to the 22 ounce bottles you currently find in your local stores. Legend has been brewing from the same location for 15 years and have just released a 15th year Anniversary Belgium Quadruple. In the interest of maintaining blog accuracy I tested the Quad on Sunday. It is a fine example of a Belgian beer and the description on the Legend website is very accurate. Be warned the Quad is high in both alcohol content and price but if you are looking for a good handcrafted beer it is worth the price.
Legend has also made a change to their live music. The brewery will no longer have live music on Tuesday. Live music will now be on Friday and Sunday starting around 6 to 6:30 and will remain free. Once Legend updates their calendar with who is performing, I will update the information on the H&H calendar.

hurray for beer! And if folks haven’t been to legend lately, the big rim is smoke-free until 8 or 9pm which makes it much more comfortable for a family dinner.
Hurray for beer is right!
Now have they improved the service any?
Many people just stopped going because the service was so poor. The wait/kitchen/janitorial (bathrooms) situation was consistently chaotic, at best.
Peter the service has gotten a little better which isn’t saying much. The food has also improved at least the last two times I was there although the hummus is not a taste treat. The biggest problem I hear from folks on the inside is the incredible amount of turnover they experience in both staff and management. Often we will grab dinner on the way and go for the beer and music.
