I got there at 5:50 and was just down the hill from the dog park fence on the sidewalk. It only took us 30 minutes to vote once the line started moving, though. Jahnke Rd is a nightmare, though – both Redd school and the church there at the corner across from the Exxon are polling places.
I had to work from home this morning and it was to my advantage. I was at Jahnke Road Baptist Church between 12:30 and 1 PM and there was no waiting. I think that was the fastet I’ve ever voted in a Presidential election!
Kudos to the election officials at Forest Hill Presbyterian this morning. There was quite a line when they opened at 6.00, but they got things moving quickly and efficiently. We were back home before 7.00, which was nice considering some of the stories we’re hearing from around the region.

My hubby just called – he went at about nine and didn’t have to wait at all. I guess the whole precinct voted before work!
I went a few mins after nine and it was busy but I didn’t have to wait. Thanks to everyone volunteering there!
I got to the Janke Rd church location at 6am and waited in line for two hours. The line wasn’t much shorter when we left.

There are still two 4th-D precincts not showing up in the city results yet, including FHPC and Beaufont Towers.
Results are up on SBE site.
