Mid-September has crept up on us again which means it’s time for the 43rd Street Festival. 10AM-5PM tomorrow, and you all know the place.

I was surprised by the people I met who *didn’t* know the place! The market is a little more obscurely located, so I’m used to people asking me about that. I’m definitely not used to walking by the parked cars six or seven (!) blocks away and having people asking if they’re going the right direction. I think that qualifies as a Good Thing (and perhaps a sign that next year someone should put up, well, signs).
Next to the folk festival, this is my favorite Richmond event. I have been going and buying art there for years. It is a real neighborhood arts festival. Chalk up one for Richmond.
